How to apply eyeliner with eyeshadow?
Prepare your eyes: Start by applying an eyeshadow primer or a thin layer of foundation or concealer on your eyelids. This helps create an even base and prevents the eyeshadow from smudging or creasing.
Choose your eyeshadow: Select an eyeshadow shade that you want to use as your eyeliner. It can be a dark shade like black, brown, or gray for a classic eyeliner look, or you can go for a colorful shade to create a more unique look.
Find a suitable brush: Look for an angled eyeliner brush or a small, firm and flat eyeshadow brush. These brushes provide better precision and control when applying the eyeshadow as an eyeliner.
Apply the eyeshadow as eyeliner: Dip the brush into the eyeshadow, tapping off any excess. Start from the outer corner of your upper lash line and gradually work your way towards the inner corner. Use short, gentle strokes to apply the eyeshadow along the lash line, making it as close to the roots of the lashes as possible.
Build up intensity: Apply the eyeshadow in layers, gradually building up the color and intensity. This allows you to achieve the desired level of definition and thickness for your eyeliner look. Remember to blend the eyeshadow slightly to soften any harsh lines and create a seamless transition.
Optional: You can also apply eyeshadow on your lower lash line to enhance your eye shape or create a smoky effect. Use a smaller brush or smudge brush to apply the eyeshadow in the same manner as the upper lash line.
Complete your eye makeup: Finish off your eye makeup by curling your lashes and applying mascara to both upper and lower lashes. This helps to define and enhance the overall look of your eyes.
